John Stulak, MD
John Stulak, MD is currently Professor of Surgery in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Clinical practice interests include coronary revascularization including multiple arterial revascularization and high-risk coronary revascularization in the heart failure patient. Additionally, clinical area of expertise resides in high-risk conventional surgery, pericardial disease and sternal reconstruction. Administrative activities include surgical education with current positions held including the Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program and Associate Program Director of the Thoracic Surgery Residency. Additional education positions include Vice-Chair of Education in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. Research interests include outcomes research utilizing clinical databases, surgical education research, and multi-institutional collaboration.
