Paul Y. Takahashi, MD, MPH
Dr. Takahashi is a consultant in Primary Care Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Palliative Care, and Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic. He is also Co-Medical Director of the Mayo Clinic Biobank, and the Medical Director and attending physician at Edenbrook Rehabilitation in Rochester, MN. Dr. Takahashi specializes in the clinical practice of older outpatients and nursing home patients. His research interests are in health outcomes in older adults, the use of genetic biomarkers to predict adverse outcomes and RSV in older adults. Research includes hospital readmissions in high-risk frail population.
