    Andrea Wahner Hendrickson, MD

    Andrea Wahner Hendrickson, M.D., is an associate professor in the Division of Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship in Medical Oncology through the Mayo Clinic Clinician Investigator Program in 2012 and subsequently joined the Medical Oncology faculty at Mayo Clinic.

    Dr. Wahner Hendrickson’s clinical efforts are focused on caring for women with gynecologic malignancies and early phase clinical trials. She serves on the NCI Ovarian Cancer Task Force which reviews and prioritizes national and international clinical trials for ovarian cancer as well as serving on the NRG Oncology Developmental Therapeutics Committee as well as the Mayo Clinic representative for the NCCN ovarian cancer guidelines. With an overarching goal of identifying better therapies for ovarian cancer, she is currently the principal investigator of NCI- sponsored trials focused on novel targeted therapies. Dr. Wahner Hendrickson also has a strong commitment to education and serves as a career advisor for the Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
