Dr. Ben Pollock, the Scientific Director for the Science of Quality Measurement Program at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL shares insights from his article appearing in the February 2023 issue of MCP:IQ&O, where he and the authors developed a simple, interpretable value metric (VM) to assess the value of care of hospitals for specific procedures or conditions by operationalizing the value equation.
